What if some of the things you learned to accept are the very things you need to question?

For years, I thought I knew what relationships were supposed to look like. Then I started noticing how much of what I accepted in my own life felt like what I had grown up around.

In What I Wish I’d Understood Sooner, I share a little of my story: the family patterns I began questioning, the choices I had to own, and the decision that my life still mattered—even while relationships I cared about remained unresolved.

Inspired by my song Love & Happiness, this short book brings together personal experiences, photographs, and questions I invite you to consider in your own life.

Inside these pages:

  • Questioning what I thought was normal growing up.
  • Recognizing patterns in my relationships and changing my own choices.
  • Finding self-respect while facing unresolved family relationships.
  • Giving commitment a real chance with Gayle.
  • Speaking up, setting boundaries, and building a life I value.

“I’m sharing a little of my story because something I learned might help you recognize something in yours.”

What you’ll receive
